With emerging technologies and innovative changes in the field of medical and clinical research and analysis, we are constantly challenged to maximise productivity and outcomes achievable from vital and, in many cases, expensive equipment throughout the lifecycle of an asset.

Choice of asset can be evaluated from a set of criteria that would take into consideration, reputation of the manufacturer/distributor, functionality and ability to deliver results consistent with manufacturers claims and, price compatibility to budget.

One important criteria that is often undervalued relates to prompt and proper care of the asset throughout its’ life to ensure the product can sustain and deliver to the manufacturer’s claims.

Having held the position of Director of Customer Service for Technicon/Bayer Diagnostics for 20 years, I could see the impact outsourcing would have on the profession and decided in January 1997 to launch Decision One, a business built on developing high level service relationships as its core, to protect clients interests and assets, to ensure performance results and sustainability of equipment is maintained at optimum levels. Clearly the measure of our success to-date reflects a growing need by clients seeking a more accountable relationship in asset management.

In recent years, we have selected to distribute a limited range of medical instrumentation founded in our core business activities.

 We will continue to seek and present next generation medical and clinical devices and software solutions that will benefit healthcare professionals as we move closer to a needle-free and safer working environment.
